As is my custom, I was sitting in our Kitchen, reading the morning paper WHEN; I heard a VERY DISTINCT voice come through the kitchen window! IT WAS The Holy Spirit, KNOWN in the Holy Bible to appear in many ways to we humans. In my case, FIRST came the breeze from the window and THEN, the voice saying " I HAVE MANY THINGS TO
SAY, CREATE A WEB-SITE SO MY WORDS WILL BE HEARD BY MANY!! I did so at once, and called it "God's Eagle Nest," The Name INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Since that FIRST time ,almost three years ago, A "puff"of wind, a breeze, has spoken to me. Our page has gone from below 1,000 readers per year to now, on track, in the year of 2009, for 15,000 readers. NOT MANY I KNOW, but WE ARE GOING UP, NOT AWAY!
WHY THE EAGLE? Read the first page, "The Eagle Rules." Throughout our Holy Bible, the Eagle is made reference too. A CREATION of God!

A few weeks after Jesus spoke, (then in the form of a WIND,) The Holy Spirit came before the Diciples as The Comforter! The Diciples began to speak to people, travellers from distant lands, IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE! Some Bibles say the Diciples spoke in "tongues." As the Hebrew translation took it as well as The Greek, speaking in "tongues"
simply meant sharing the Gospel with people from distant lands IN THEIR OWN "TONGUE" OR LANGUAGE!
NOTE; that the following comments and quotes lead FROM FORGIVENESS to PATIENCE.
Not a WHOLE LOT OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE WORDS;
Just think, if the act of FORGIVENESS were practised between Men and Women, between peoples across this tiny globe God Created, PLUS the act of PATIENCE in the same GEOGRAPHIC areas, several things in our lives might take place;
1. Forgiveness; God requires US to forgive others, {AS POINTED OUT IN THE LORD'S
PRAYER,} BEFORE he can forgive US?? - SIMPLE!
2. Patience; As Humans, we take awhile to "patiently ponder" IF we should forgive
our neighbor; WHEREAS; God just FORGIVES! No need for Godly patience in
this scenario! We forgive, {patiently or not,} and he FORGIVES AT ONCE,
NO HESITATION, as long as WE follow God's very simple rules!

KEEP READING, all you can do is LEARN, no harm, no foul!!
JUST HOW DO WE BEGIN TO FORGIVE, OR, ASK?
Easier SAID than done! We ALL can come up with excuses, reasons that seem valid...at the time..To avoid FORGIVING OURSELVES, it is far easier to just ask God, let HIM do the whole job of forgiving! PROBLEM: First God may NOT just "forgive us," next, how can we ask our Father to forgive us if in fact we have not DUG DOWN, INTO OUR SOULS, AND CLEANED UP THE MESS BY FORGIVING OURSELVES?

Forgiving Yourself

Then he said to him, “Follow me!”
John 21:19 (NIV)
We believe God will forgive us; the problem, though, is we won’t forgive ourselves!!
Peter knew the feeling; he’d failed Jesus, so he went back to fishing. He’d set a high standard of loyalty and love to his Lord, only to perform a belly flop off the high dive, not once, not twice, but three times.
And so it was that he’d gone back to fishing, feeling lower than a bottom fish in the Sea of Galilee.
How could Jesus forgive him, when he couldn’t even forgive himself?
But then Jesus, resurrected, yelled "ahoy" from the shore, and Peter, in his excitement, abandoned the boat for the speed of swimming to shore. No shout of, “If it’s you, command me to walk across the water, Lord.” Peter figured he’d have to do it on his own because he’d blown his chance for sainthood. {And he had...}
They ate breakfast and Peter was probably hanging back a bit with a sense of shame that lied to him, telling him he wasn’t worthy to even sit in the presence of Jesus.
Yet, Jesus, showing sweet sensitivity, reached out to Peter, knowing he was hurting and humiliated, but also knowing he’d been humbled into the “I can’t” stance."
Jesus reminded Peter that the sentence doesn’t stop at “I can’t”; it moved onto “God can.”
Standing at the Sea of Galilee, on the shore where Jesus first promised to make Peter a fisher of men, the Lord offered one more lesson: Through God’s mercy and grace - because Jesus died but was now standing alive, resurrected, before Peter - there could be forgiveness of sins and peace with God.
Jesus once again said to Peter, “Follow me!” (John 21:19 NIV).

Hey!, I'm as good a Christian as the next Guy or Gal! - What is this, FORGIVE MYSELF? I KNOW progress cannot be made, no matter what the situation unless YOU or I take some of the burden, telling God, in effect, WE BELIEVE in what you promised, you WILL forgive us, yet like anything we see on this Earth it takes some effort to MAKE SOME PROGRESS! Forgiveing our selves is the BEGINNING of progress.

Patience, as with FORGIVENESS, has become a lost art in this World of ours today.
We have come to expect instant answers and results with
everything, even including our prayers as an example. Now
another example is when we watch evil men commit crimes
or cheat others, and seem to get away with it.
Therefore we are to practice patience, knowing that God is
in Control, and God's justice will be served! So, BROTHERS,
AS AN EXAMPLE OF PATIENCE IN THE FACE OF
SUFFERING, TAKE THE PROPHETS WHO SPOKE IN THE
NAME OF THE LORD. AS YOU KNOW, WE CONSIDER
BLESSED THOSE WHO HAVE PERSEVERED. YOU HAVE
HEARD OF JOB'S PERSEVERANCE AND HAVE SEEN
WHAT THE LORD FINALLY BROUGHT ABOUT. THE LORD
IS FULL OF COMPASSION AND MERCY. ( JAMES 5:10-12 )
REST IN THE LORD, AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR

One of the very first thing about computing was if things did NOT WORK OUT AS I PLANNED THEM, ..... BE PATIENT! Since I FINALLY learned how to be Patient, as I write this NOW, I am VERY pushed for time, my schedule is off, .... THUS, I must be self forgiving!
FORGIVE YOURSELF; EXAMPLE; I am the writer, chief "bottle washer, etc. of God's Eagle Nest. Good thoughts MUST come from my mind as I write! If they do NOT, I must back up, forgive myself, OR face the LABEL of "HYPOCRITE " emblazened accross my forehead!
